I made this tutorial video after I had a bunch of people, who watched my drum cover music video of “Rock n Roll Train”, ask me how to play the song or for tips on playing the song.

One caveat: this is MY version of the song, so I don’t need to hear from people giving me advice about how the song is exactly supposed to be played. This is how I play the song. As such, though, it is pretty close to the original version.

I’ve been playing drums for about 6 months now (this video was shot on 2008-09-27). Here I am playing in my basement on a Roland electronic kit (TD3-KWS); external sound through a Tapco mixer and Tapco self-powered PA speaker, though I have sound on this one being plugged directly into my computer.
