Playing drums to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes… I’d only been playing drums for about 4 months when this video was taken. I had about a half dozen private lessons, and since then I have been printing drum tabs and learning on my own.

Here I am playing in my basement on a Roland electronic kit (TD3-KWS); external sound through a Tapco mixer and Tapco self-powered PA speaker.

how do your tapco thumps sound are they good powered speakers I know they are made by mackie but are the sounds similiar to mackie?

How does your tapco thumps sound? I know mackie makes them. I am thinking about getting the tapco thumps but not sure how they hold up

I like ‘em! When I bought them, I compared them to Roland drum monitors, keyboard amplifiers and other PA amps, including Fender and Mackie. I prefer them to the Fender, but have to admit that I like the Mackie better… however you are paying a bunch more $ for the Mackie. The Tapco speakers are great for the price you pay… they have been all good thus far. Good luck!
