Drum Cover of “Seven Nation Army” by White Stripes – PEYTS / Peyts69
12th November 2008
Peyts69 asked:
Playing drums to “Seven Nation Army” by White Stripes… I’d only been playing drums for about 4 months when this video was taken. Here I am playing in my basement on a Roland electronic kit (TD3-KWS); external sound through a Tapco mixer and Tapco self-powered PA speaker.
Check out my other drumming videos as well!

Cheers!

Hahahaha! I appreciate the vote of confidence, bro! But I’m not playing with anyone you would know… I’ve only been playing drums for about 6 months now… first time I picked up the sticks was in March ‘08. Just a local group (but VERY talented)… actually the first that I have even played with.
As you said, I’m a big newbie as well!
Cheers!

I was meant to write Muse or RHCP, oh well. Sounds nice mate
What group is that? A local band, or someone I might know? Chili peppers have awesome drums, I dunno how difficult it will be though, I am no drummer, only a BIG newbie guitarist. Hey mate!

Thanks, IshtarDK! I appreciate all the comments, bro!
Some Chili Peppers, huh… give me some time and I’ll see what I can come up. Trying to learn the setlist of a group that I am jamming a bit with right now… but I’ll give some Chili Peppers a shot as soon as I get some extra time.
Cheers!

I have nine videos up of me playing the drums, and will have a few more up this weekend… check them out to hear more of these drums.
The “brain” of the system has 32 preset kits, which you can mix and match to create what you like. I use the standard kit, and have created one other one which I use for most songs.
The other thing is that I have only been playing for about 6 months now… so I am just starting to get these things performing well…

Sorry, my bad… they are KWS (typo on my last reply with kds).
Are they good drums? I guess it depends what you are looking for. They are durable, dependable and provide a great sound. I would have preferred a bigger set (the TD12 or 20 version), but they are much more expensive, and not really that much more beneficial than the TD3.
I love these drums! They fit almost anywhere, & you can play at any hour of the day or night when using a set of headphones… so lots more practice time!

Yep i cant find the “Kds” only the “Kw” are they good drums?
December 2nd, 2008 at 7:18 am
SickWipeout… I can honestly say that I have absolutely no idea. I did a quick search, and they both look the same to me, and read to have the same features. The “KDS” type was listed on my drum’s packaging material, otherwise I would believe it to be the “KW”.
Are you looking a picking up a set?

I like ‘em! When I bought them, I compared them to Roland drum monitors, keyboard amplifiers and other PA amps, including Fender and Mackie. I prefer them to the Fender, but have to admit that I like the Mackie better… however you are paying a bunch more $ for the Mackie. The Tapco speakers are great for the price you pay… they have been all good thus far. Good luck!

Playing drums to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes… I’d only been playing drums for about 4 months when this video was taken. I had about a half dozen private lessons, and since then I have been printing drum tabs and learning on my own.
Here I am playing in my basement on a Roland electronic kit (TD3-KWS); external sound through a Tapco mixer and Tapco self-powered PA speaker.
Check out my other drumming videos as well!
