The group plans to get out with the help of “Bohdi”, an old mystical force. Alfredo Alfredo: All too normal Italian comedy in regards to a milque toast who triumphs and weds a seductive female, only to remorse his conquest. Lone interest is recognizing Hoffman?s good work in this uncommon setting (with a dubbed voice!). Days of Glory: Moving (and illuminating) fable of North African cadets who joined their French brothers in battle throughout WW2 even thougth they were on no account acknowledged as equals. The film is constructed on a time worn recipe of following raw initiates as they become stiffened battle Heros by concentrating on a handful of men and personalizing their tale. This film brings this forgotten chapter of history comes to lucid life. Cast includes Jamel Debbouze, Samy Naceri, Roschdy Zem, Sami Bouajila, Bernard Blancan, Mathieu Simonet, Benoit Giros, Melanie Laurent, and Antoine Chappey. (120 minutes, 2006)

House of the Dead: This is a low-grade terror film, based on the video game, which charts the predictable destinies of some addle brained youngsters drawn to an island inhabited by zombies. Sloppily made and mindnumbingly inept. Cast includes Jonathan Cherry, Tyron Leitso, Clint Howard, Ona Grauer, Ellie Cornell, Can Sanderson, and Enuka Okuma. (92 minutes, 2003)

The Fragile Delinqueut: Jerry’s first solo attempt after separating with Dean Martin has him as late who gets to be a cop with McGavin’s help. Cast Jerry Lewis, Martha Hyer, Darren McGavin, Horace McMahon, and Milton Frome.  (100 minutes, 1957)

For Love of Ivy: A family desires to keep their servant, so they find her a man tokeep her happy. The film is a ho-hum black romance at best. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Abbey Lincoln, Guy Bridges, Leon Bibb, Nan, Martin, Lauri Peters, and Carroll O’Connor. (102 minutes, 1968)

Delusion: Hard, tight thriller in reference to a yuppie pc executive-embezzler and his plight after seeing a Las Vegas show gal and her hit man boyfriend (Secor, in an eye-opening acting job) on a Death Valley freeway commit a killing. Cast includes Jim Metzler, Jennifer Rubin, Kyle Secor, Robert Costanzo, Tracey Walter, and Jerry Orbach.  (100 minutes, 1990)
