Chakra Meditation, or Chakra Healing aims at looking inwards as distinct from looking outwards and looking at surroundings as we do most of the time. *Crown Chakra. This charka comprises of our head and brain which is the true driver of not only our thinking process but all organs of the body. *Centering Technique. This technique prepares you to receive rewards of Chakra Meditation. Just take half a dozen deep breathes and feel the existence of each part of your body by tightening and relaxing muscles in each part, while at the same time visualizing the hand of a potter centering a pot on the potter’s wheel.
*Relaxation Technique. The main part of Chakra Meditation is the Relaxation Technique. Different people have different ways of distressing, so find a way of relaxing which suits you the best and adhere to it. In short, Chakra Meditation aims at relaxing the body and visualizing the flow of energy through the seven chakras.
One of the popular methods of Chakra Meditation is detailed below:
*Sit or lie down in a position that is most comfortable for your body.
*Make sure your clothing is loose so that you are free of body tension and then shut your eyes.
*Breathe in a relaxed manner, which is neither too fast nor too slow. Let the breath come naturally!
*The next step relates to feeling every part of your body from toe to head in that direction. While your eyes are closed, try to feel everything that you would’ve seen with open eyes, like earth, air, clothes, surroundings etc. The idea is to feel awareness even with closed eyes.
*You may experience a wave of thoughts, fears, and every kind of emotion during this process. Don’t avoid them! This represents the release of stress-related thoughts. With practice and regular exercise, these negative emotions and feelings will disappear.
*Do not resist your awareness of any part of your body or things around you.
This exercise can be done at any time of the day and for any duration of time. However, the longer the better!
